Robot body cables carry power, encoder signals, and safety signals. When a short-circuit alarm occurs, first record the alarm code displayed on the control cabinet, then disconnect power and inspect areas around the wrist and base that undergo frequent bending.

Use an insulation tester to test the wiring harness section by section, and mark locations with worn cable jackets, broken conductors, or oxidized connectors. After replacement or repair, secure the cables along their routing path again, allowing an appropriate bend radius.

After completing the repair, perform insulation tests, continuity tests, low-speed single-axis tests, and coordinated multi-axis load tests in that order, then confirm that positioning repeatability and safety circuit operation are normal.
