The FANUC P-250iB is one of the most flexible and advanced painting robots currently on the market. It offers multiple mounting options to meet the demands of challenging painting environments. Its OpenArchitecture design allows it to accommodate standard FANUC integrated process equipment and makes it easy to integrate third-party industrial equipment. An optional arm-integrated activation control cabinet mounts on the robot's vertical arm and can house FANUC-certified components to improve overall performance and paint quality. Its advantages fall into the following three categories.
1. Process Advantages
(1) The IPC system for 1K/2K gear pumps, the 1K closed-loop flow control system, and the ICS system for internally charged waterborne paint automatically maintain the programmed flow rate, ensuring consistent paint delivery and high paint quality. Process equipment can be installed inside the vertical arm, closer to the applicator, for a faster, more accurate, and more stable painting response.
(2) Control cabinets for single-arm or dual-arm configurations are available.
(3) Integrated diagnostics and reporting are standard.
(4) The Flip-Qver function provides the industry's largest working envelope.
(5) The equal-length arm design provides a larger effective working envelope.
2. Software Advantages
(1) PaintTOOL software provides the industry's most powerful, easy-to-use programming interface.
(2) Dual Check Safety software ensures the safety of the painting equipment.
(3) Collision Guard collision protection software ensures the safety of the painting equipment.
(4) AutoFlowChecker software detects problems in the paint delivery system in real time.
(5) Built-in process parameter diagnostics, monitoring, and reporting functions provide comprehensive real-time statistical reports.
(6) Multiple network communication protocols are supported.
(7) ROBOGUIDE PaintPRO software provides offline 3D simulation and programming.
(8) Both the iPendant color graphical teach pendant and the standard intrinsically safe teach pendant are supported.
3. Design Advantages
(1) Floor, inverted, and inclined mounting options are available.
(2) The robot can easily be configured for left-hand or right-hand operation, enabling symmetrical layouts within the spray booth.
(3) Standard process line routing is provided.
(4) One or two process axes can optionally be mounted on the horizontal arm.
(5) Optional nonconductive nylon arms and wrists are available.
(6) The robot is designed for easy maintenance, with key components readily removable.
(7) The high-strength arms and wrists are designed to carry a variety of applicators, including rotary bells, conventional spray guns, electrostatic spray guns, and spray guns with multiple heads.
(8) Flexible, customizable mounting configurations allow the robot layout within the spray booth to be optimized.
